Just before 8 PM on Christmas, Fairmount and Califon Fire Companies, Lebanon Boro Ladder 18, Oldwick Tender 24, and Tewksbury First Aid and Rescue Squad were dispatched for a couch fire inside of a residence on Boulder Hill Road in Tewksbury Township.  While enroute resopnding fire units were advised by Tewksbury Township Police on scene that there was heavy smoke coming from the residence with a second update reporting that there was active fire.  When Califon Engine 44-1 arrived on scene the structure was fully involved.  Fairmount Engines 34-1 and 34-2 were the next two fire units to arrive on scene, 34-1 supplied water to Califon's Engine and Fairmount Engine 34-2 assisted with knocking down the fire.  Fairmount Tender 34-7 supplied water to Engine 34-1.  The fire was quickly knocked down and overhaul operations were completed.  Units cleared the scene shortly after 10 PM.  Chester Fire Company provided station coverage for us while we were on scene.
