Sunday, February 26, 2006 - Drill - The Washington Township Fire Department has recently had the opportunity to drill in the former Welsh Farms plant on Fairview Avenue.  The Long Valley First Aid Squad was also present to provide firefighter rehab and drill with injured person scenarios.  The structures allow for firefighters to gain experience with techniques including search and rescue, forcible entry, hose advancement, overhaul, ladders, FAST operations, and communications.  Firefighters also benefited from critique after each scenario.  The most recent scenarios took place in the office complex of the plant (the former temporary municipal building).  Below are some pictures from this event:
