January 13, 2005 - Fairmount Fire Company was dispatched to assist Long Valley Rescue with a motor vehicle accident with entrapment.  A quick extrication by the Long Valley First Aid Squad assisted by Fairmount members resulted in a safe extrication of the victim.  MICU 57 was dispatched due to the mechanism of injury.  The victim was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital.

First responders on scene, EMT Chris Tamburro, and FF/EMT Rob Cline asses the victim before the arrival of any rescue vehicles.

The Long Valley First Aid Squad Extrication team uses Hurst Extrication tools to release the door.

Like any extrication, the incident was a team effort comprised of EMT's, Police, and Fire Personnel.
