	2009-2010 Pancake Breakfasts
	The second Sunday of every month from October to May (excluding December), Fairmount hosts all you can eat pancake breakfasts.  From 7:30 - 12:00, all you can eat pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, and buns.  The cost is:  Adults $7.50,  Children $3.50, and infants are admitted free.  October 11, 2009 November 8, 2009 January 10, 2010 February 14, 2010 March 14, 2010 April 11, 2010 May 9, 2010
	Fairmount to receive new 4 Guys Tanker
	The Fairmount Fire Company has places an order with 4-Guys Fire Trucks of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania for a custom tanker.  The Tanker is expected to be delivered in the Spring of 2007 and will replace the current tanker, a 1987 Pierce (pictured to the left).
	Fairmount awarded $10,000 Grant
	Fairmount Fire Co. has been awarded $10,000 by Fireman's Fund Insurance and Oxbridge Insurance Associates to purchase a Thermal Imaging Camera and Automated External Defibrillator.  A Thermal Imaging Camera is an essential tool for smoke filled interior operations to guide firefighters to hot spots, locating victims, as well as easing the navigation of unfamiliar structures.  An AED is essential to any firefighting association as 44% percent of firefighter deaths are as a result of heart attack.  An AED is the most effective during the first 3-5 minutes of a cardiac emergency, making it imperative that an AED is readily accessible.    See Daily Record Article
	Santa Claus to visit Fairmount Fire Company
	On Sunday, December 18, Santa Claus is expected to visit Fairmount Fire Company.  Our members will be escorting Santa to Fairmount's primary area in Washington Township, Morris County, and Tewksbury Township, Hunterdon County.  Santa will be taking this opportunity to great children and their parents before the Holidays.

	Firefighters collect for hurricane victims - September, 2005
	Six hours of fund-raising last weekend yielded over $6,000 in donations that will be sent to firefighters and EMS workers who were victims of Hurricane Katrina. Washington Township firefighters stood at the intersection of Route 517 and Route 513, in the center of Long Valley, on September 24 collecting donations from motorists.
